1979 MISS INTERNATIONAL MIMILANIE LAUREL MARQUEZ  

12 November 1979 at the Mielparque in Tokyo, Japan. The then–15-year-old Miss Mimilanie "Melanie" Marquez bested 43 contestants for the third Miss International crown for the Philippines and made the country the first to ever win three Miss International titles. She also won the Best in National Costume Award.
